Now that we’re settling into life of a family of five (slowly, but surely that is!) I am starting to get into a grind of keeping our pantry and freezer stocked with healthy and easy to prepare meals and snacks. Especially now that summer is about to begin and the kiddos will be home full-time, I know I need to keep a variety of healthy options on hand to satisfy the hunger of a growing six and almost four year old! One thing I’m learning, is the ease of buying in bulk those things we eat on a regular basis and thankfully, BJ’s Wholesale Club has us covered when it comes to buying organic food and not breaking the bank.

Organic Shopping That Won't Break The Bank

We get some of my favorite snacks and meal staples at BJ’s Wholesale Club and my favorite part? I can stock up and only have to go to the store once or twice a month. Especially now with three kids, its nearly impossible to make it to the grocery store unscathed, so I love that I can stock up on some of our favorite things like Muir Glen organic pasta sauce and diced tomatoes, Wellsley Farms organic lemonade, Honest Kids juice boxes, and more!

I love browsing the aisles at BJ’s and knowing I can easily pinpoint their organic line with their easy to follow color coded labels too! I would say we buy about 80-90% organic on a regular basis, so the green labels make those organic options super easy to find to make shopping that much easier.

For the longest time, I didn’t think it was worth it for our family to shop organic. I figured things like fruit or veggies would just go bad before we get through them all, but I’ve found we’re saving so much money buying things like frozen organic fruit, juice boxes, milk, crackers and snacks – you name it at BJ’s! Plus, I can feel good about shopping on a budget and buying healthy options for my family that we can afford. One of our new favorite “go-to” foods for an easy dinner, a snack, or lunch is the Wellsley Farms organic tortellini and ravioli! We love the spinach ones and I can have that ready for dinner paired with the Muir Glen organic pasta sauce in minutes! My kids even like eating it cold.. I even made a cold pasta salad tossing it in our favorite organic dressing for a cookout this past weekend and it was a huge hit!

Take a look at some of our favorite staples we like to stock up on for every BJ’s shopping trip and if you haven’t yet, check out your local BJ’s Wholesale Club.. walk through the store and spot all of the green labels showing you how many organic options they offer for families who want to eat healthy on a budget! Have any questions or want to learn more about what BJ’s has to offer? Contact me! We’ve seriously been saving so much money on what they have to offer!

And stay tuned, because next month I’ll be showing off some fun items to get your family ready for summer too!

Seriously!! I don’t even have five kids to feed, but we seem to be there quite frequently lately too! Summer is in full swing 😉
