If you follow me on Instagram, I shared a new product on my Insta Stories I recently came across and couldn’t wait to share with you! If you’ve been following me for a while now, you know I’m a mom to three kids and always looking for not just the hottest new products for moms to share with you, but telling you WHY. I’m not one to fall into the trap  of neeeing every new thing that comes on the market, but I’ll tell you what, I wish I had this termo 4-in-1 baby thermometer way before now! ‘Tis the season of flu and colds...

It’s been good long while since you’ve heard anything from me. While I’ll give you more on that and what’s been soaking up my time the past several months later, I’m super excited to be back and partner with our friends at Star from Afar to share something so special for this Easter season! You may remember a few years ago hearing about the Star from Afar and I’m sure you’ve spotted my pictures on Instagram during the holiday season too. I was so thrilled to partner with them again and even more...

We’ve been back to school for several weeks now and the never-ending chore of packing your kids lunches has begun. Since my husband and I both despise packing lunches, we’re trying a new approach this year and getting the kids involved! I let them come with me to pick out their favorite back-t0-school lunchbox items at BJ’s Wholesale Club. This way, they’re getting what they like. The assortment of allergy friendly and healthy items is endless and when we shop in bulk, I only have to go once every 3-4 weeks. With...

Well its official.. school is in session here at the Crowe’s Nest! Our little man started second grade yesterday and our girl heads to Kindergarten tomorrow! Where has the time gone!? Both over the years and this summer.. it flew by! I know we start back earlier than others, so I wanted to share something fun we started this year in prep for heading back to the books so you guys can use the idea in your homes in the upcoming weeks! In an effort to get into routine around here (and get our son reading to us nightly,) I thought we...

Our Disney vacation planning is in full swing! We’re headed to the most magical place on earth in just over a month and to say we’re excited would be an understatement! With all the excitement though has come A LOT of planning for this mom! Traveling with three kiddos ages 7, 4, and 1 means being prepared for anything and EVERYTHING. A few weeks ago, we had some friends over to celebrate our vacation planning for a Disney Kids Preschool Playdate with games, treats, & goodies for the kids while us moms took to Pinterest...

When our sweet girl started losing weight around four months old after a glowing first few months of weight gain and breastfeeding bliss; this mommy went through a messy season of guilt. When our pediatrician told me I had to supplement to help her weight loss issues, I obliged.. reluctantly, but  I went with it. After several weeks of exclusive pumping while nursing before naps and bedtime and formula, I knew I couldn’t keep up. We saw a huge change in not only her weight, but her behavior and sleeping too, so I knew after everything...

I don’t know about you, but once I pick up the kids from school, it seems like the rest of the day is a complete whirlwind until I tuck them into bed. Preschool pickup at 1, with not much time before 1st grade car pool, then it’s homework, activities, cleaning up and prepping for lunch then next day, and dinner – – all while attempting to get the littlest to nap so I have some free hands to get it all done! Sound familiar? I thought I’d share with you a few of my secrets for surviving those few hours between...

It’s that time of year! You know, when you go outside and you can’t feel your face. Even here in the Carolina’s, it gets down below freezing and I wonder why we don’t just move to Hawaii or some tropical beach somewhere. Unfortunately though for this mom, even when it’s 20 degrees outside, I still have to take my kids out and go to school, dance class, and the grocery store. Now that my bigger two are old enough to take their coats on and off themselves though, that part is a little easier, but having an eight...

Having two daughters, I really want to start special traditions to share with them while they’re young that they’ll cherish forever. My oldest daughter, who is four also wants to be like mommy all the time. She likes to wear makeup, put on high heels, and show off sparkly jewelry, so it was a no brainer to add something flashy she can wear to her Christmas list. I love the idea of getting her a charm bracelet. She already loves mine and ooh’s and ahh’s over the gorgeous charms, so I thought why not get her one...

When I came across the Star from Afar, I was so excited to check it out. The day it showed up my doorstep to share with you all, I could hardly wait to start it with my kids. Having three young kids and wanting to instill in them the story of Jesus and why we celebrate this season is so important to me. I want my kids to grow up thinking of Christmas a Jesus’ birthday and being thankful for the gifts he’s given, but I also want them to have the traditions and fun memories that I had growing up too. Since my kids range from...
